The intricacies of this job presented a challenge from the start – so much so, the client openly informed our team that other builders, upon viewing the job, were unwilling to take it on.
The client required our team to remove all of their old garden fencing, and fully replace it with a new one. However, the old feather edge fencing was badly rotten throughout, causing the wooden support posts to drastically buckle, putting pressure on the small wall at the base.
Understanding the urgency of retaining the walls integrity, our team focused its efforts on carefully removing the support posts without cracking the wall – making sure to leave the post holes clean and in good condition, ready to slide in and fix new concrete reinforced fence post replacements.
Whilst installing the new concrete posts, it became apparent to us that the distances between the post holes were irregular. Upon learning this, our team then decided it was imperative that we made all the fence panels on site, assuring each strut would fit precise throughout.
